Welcome!
Jumptown Swing runs regular classes, workshops and events, and has a performance troupe available for functions and demonstrations. Swing dancing is a great way to keep fit, socialise, get ready for a wedding, or just enjoy a bit of the 1930s and 40s. Jumptown Swing is a non-profit community organisation.
Jumptown Swing has an experienced performance troupe – The Jumptown Jammers - with a range of Lindy Hop, Charleston or Swing-era routines for charity or corporate events, birthdays, dinners, balls and weddings. For more info see the about page.

Some 20 bands, late nights, chilling by the pool and chairlift rides! Sounds like a great way to ease some cool blues into the long, hot summer! Jumptown has a long association with the Thredbo Blues Festival and we’d love you to join us for a jam-packed weekend of dancing…, socialising and some of the best blues music the country has to offer. Ask anyone who’s been, and they’ll recommend you go! And to sweeten the deal just that little bit more, Jumptown has a limited number of free and discounted tickets available for eager Jumptown volunteers. Yes you can dance lindy to Blues music.
Contact thredbo@jumptown.org for more information/ticket inquiries/carpooling.
