Welcome to Jumptown Swing!

and introducing . . . Jumptown Jitterbugs - classes for 9-15yos
Jumptown Swing runs regular classes, workshops and events, and has a performance troupe available for functions and demonstrations. Swing dancing is a great way to keep fit, socialise, get ready for a wedding, or just enjoy a bit of the 1930s and 40s. Jumptown Swing is a non-profit community organisation.
Swing Dance Performances
Jumptown Swing has an experienced performance troupe - The Jumptown Jammers - with a range of Lindy Hop, Charleston or Swing-era routines for charity or corporate events, birthdays, dinners, balls and weddings. We can dress up in our best 20s-50s vintage threads and even recommend some of Canberra's finest swing bands. We can also work the audience with some crowd participation to get them up and doing the Charleston with us in no time. We will get your party really swingin'!

3 days, 4 nights, 5 bands - still 100% social dancing
Canberräng 09 is a fun-filled weekend of mystery with dancing from morning to dusk through to dawn (rest and repeat).
